WilPharma was a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Harvardville, Pennsylvania.  The company fell apart upon the arrest of its chief researcher, Frederick Downing on charges of bioterrorism and shortly after the company's demise, it was taken over by TRICELL.

History

When WilPharma was established is not known, but thought of been already opened by 1995 in Harvardville.  Dealing with the recession in the early 1990s, Harvardville depended on WilPharma for the economy for the following decade.  By 2005, Harvardville was known as a company town with strong loyalties to WilPharma.  Criticizing the company was a social wrong.  The company associated themselves with Senator Ron Davis, who has residency in Harvardville, and shareholder and would apply great political pressure towards anyone who posed a threat to the company.

Involvement With The Pentagon

In the early years of President Graham's term, WilPharma was involved in the development of the T-Vaccine to prevent any other possible viral outbreak like the one in Raccoon City years ago from happening again.  After the fall of the Umbrella Corporation, their T-Virus samples were sold on the black markets.  In 2002, an early version was given for usage in India and the vaccination of people around the hot zone prevented the virus from spreading beyond the deployment zone where the Indian Army was.  President Graham was happy with its success, and wanted to see its need for preventatives in the future.  The US Congress provided further funding in vaccine research.  Included in this anti bioterrorism program was an air dome laboratory stationed in India. 

The date is now July of 2005, the footage of the incident was given to the group TerraSave.  TerraSave accused WilPharma of unethical activities and threatened ICC action, alleging a case of cannibal diseases was caused by the trial of the prototype vaccine.  Unable to reveal the true nature of the trials, allegations badly harmed the company, leading to a nationwide mistrust in the pharmaceutical industry. 

The Collapse

November was the month were Harvardville became the center for a bioterrorist attack, resulting in the quarantine of the airport in Harvardville, when an Atmos Airlines passenger plane went down and crashed into an airport terminal and destruction of the Air Dome Laboratory after a bombing enabled another outbreak involving the T-Virus among the researchers.  An investigation between the Harvardville Police Department and the US government linked WilPharma to the attacks directly.  Former virologist that worked for WilPharma, Curtis Miller, was identified to be the attacker at the airport and laboratory bomber.  Curtis Miller lost his family in the destruction of Raccoon City, and wants to get revenge on those involved.  He became radicalized seeing attacks as necessary acts in forcing the US government to disclose any classified information about the incident to the public.  Miller perished in WilPharma when he was incinerated after the outbreak.

Just after Curtis's death, the evidence linked the attacks to Frederick Downing, WilPharma's chief researcher.  After being arrested and questioned by the authorities, Downing revealed that he supplied Miller and the Indian rebels with the T-Virus, with the efforts of advertising both the successes of the T-Virus and the T-Vaccine to terror groups, with the bombing being the means of destroying the vaccine research and faking his death.

WilPharma's association to both Curtis Miller and Frederick Downing struck a death blow to the company.  The company's stocks became worthless on the stock market.  Shortly after the incident at the former WilPharma laboratory, the company was bought by TRICELL and its assets.
