The Baker Family

The Baker family is a peaceful family living their happy lives in the bayou of Dulvey, Louisiana. 

Before Eveline came along, the Baker family were known to be generally a loving and caring for one another, even towards strangers.  There was a slight disfunction within the family.  Lucas and his anti social behavior showed some concern as stemmed from his early childhood. It's not known to why Joe (Jack Baker's brother) wanted to live in a secluded life away from the rest of the family.  Locals described the Bakers as a quiet household.  Military memorabilia and accolades within the household indicate that some of the Baker family served in the United States Armed Forces since the American Civil War.

After Eveline arrived, she infected the Baker family, the family had transformed from a quiet loving caring people to becoming a family of sadistic killers in their nature of being violent, deranged and cannibalistic.  Their bodily movements became unpredictable by the locals, most noticed by Clancy Jarvis, and Ethan Winters.  Due to Eveline's control, Jack and Marguerite had become unstable and had a hostile relationship, often yelling at each other ending up forgiving each other.  The Baker children, Zoe and Lucas, not under the control of Eveline, are polar opposites of each other. Zoe didn't turn insane and aids any survivors she can contact using the landline phone through out the house to escape and get the serum to eliminate the virus, excluding herself from the rest of her insane family.  Lucas on the other hand, plays torturous games with his victims, actively participating with the rest of the family's sadistic events and showing himself to be a psychopath as his nature.

Eveline considers Mia Winters to be her mother after she was assigned to be her handler on an escort mission to South America infecting Mia with the means of controlling her.  Mia is well aware of Eveline's powers, she tries her best to contain her situation to minimized the damage but the infection gets to the better of her, making her become sinister, bloodthirsty, and sadistic just like the Bakers also taking part in some of the murders on the estate.  It's clear she has a deep lover for her husband, Ethan.  As she struggles to fight off Eveline's control over her, she was forced to attack him.

At the nearby swamps is Joe Baker, who is unaffected by the events that occurred with the rest of the Bakers during the past three years.  Joe has a strained relationship with his brother Jack, and adopting an outback lifestyle, secluded from the rest of society.  He does retain a strong love for the rest of his family especially when he protects his deteriorating niece Zoe from both the molded and Blue Umbrella was sent to save her.
