Bertha's real name was initially Michaela Heinzwaffen, until it was changed to Michaela Schneider.

This game couldn't be canon, because Leon and Claire get killed towards the end of the game.  Leon will be appearing in the events of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil 9 along with all the CGI movies.

This game is the first Resident Evil game from the point-of-view of the Umbrella Countermeasure Service; Umbrella Corps is the other.

Mistakes

A cutscene shows a mercenary screaming as his throat is cut. If his throat is cut he should not be able to scream.

Judging by the movement of tracer fire, the muzzle velocity of small arms is much less than it should be.
