Synopsis

Previously on Resident Evil:

Deep underground, beneath Raccoon City, a secret high-tech laboratory, called The Hive was infiltrated by Alice and a special military until after a deadly virus was unleased on purpose and the supercomputer system The Red Queen, went homicidal against all the lab workers.  Some in the special military until died when ambushed by zombies that were once lab workers, and two survived, Alice and Matt.  After escaping the Hive with a case containing the T-Virus and anti-virus samples, Alice and Matt were seized by Umbrella scientists in the mansion.  Matt started to mutate after being infected by a Licker, and Alice wakes up in the Raccoon City Hospital, being infected with the virus on a cellular level.  She leaves the hospital only to see that streets of Raccoon City have been destroyed and infested with a zombie outbreak.

Meanwhile, the deadly virus had escaped the Hive, when a few Umbrella agents reopened the Hive entrance.  The city is infected all over and it's up to Alice to locate survivors and get out of Raccoon City before nuclear bomb eradicates the city by the Umbrella Corporation to eliminate any evidence of any connection to the outbreak.
