It's been a few years since Ethan and Mia escaped the nightmare in Dulvey, Louisiana and they just want to start over but in rural Romania.  Together, they have a baby daughter, Rosemary. 

One night, while Mia was cooking a stew and Ethan puts down Rosemary down to sleep, Chris and his men appeared and attacked the peaceful home, killing Mia and taking Rosemary with them, leaving Ethan to head for a mysterious village where another nightmare awaits him.

Now it's up to Ethan to search through the village, the neighboring castle and other areas to save his daughter and reunite with the real Mia and escape.
