Mikhail's final line in the game "Get off my train" is a nod to Harrison Ford in the film Air Force One. In the film his line is "Get off my plane."

After climbing over the fire engine in the city, if the player wanders close enough to one of the police cars, they can hear a radio call where the voice says that they are trapped with three civilians in the back of a cafeteria, with one of them being injured. It has been speculated that this is Kevin Ryman, the police officer from Resident Evil Outbreak.

Jill's iconic beret can be spotted on a shelf in her apartment.

Tyrell's death by Nemesis is a nod to the film Aliens in which the Alien Queen impales Bishop before ripping him apart.

The Coffee Shop seen near the beginning of the game is named "Coffee Shop Sigourney". This is a nod to actress Sigourney Weaver. The sign in front of the coffee shop also reads "Since 1979", the same year the original film Alien was released.

In the scene where Jill and Brad run inside the bar to escape the zombies, Brad throws a sign at the zombies to temporarily hold them off. Looking closely, you can see that the sign bears a drawing of Morrigan from the Dark Stalkers franchise, also by Capcom.

During the game, Jill says, "You want S.T.A.R.S.? I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!" This was said by Jill in the original game.

In Jill's apartment, there is a magnet on her refrigerator that reads "Green Herbs", an obvious reference to the healing herbs used in the Resident Evil franchise.

When Jill meets Dario Rosso in the abandoned warehouse, he tells Jill that he isn't leaving and would rather starve to death than be eaten by 'those undead monsters' before demanding to be left alone. This is a reference to the original Resident Evil 3, where Dario said the same thing to Jill in game.

In the S.T.A.R.S. office in the RPD, if you have Carlos shoot the bullseye on the dart board hanging on the wall, Carlos will comment "Oh yeah, the kid's still got it!"

The container that Nemesis was transported in during the opening movie can actually be found near the beginning of the game while Jill is following Brad. The player can even interact with the container for some unique dialogue.

In the toy store, there is a large display of action figures that are all based on the design of Mega Man that was used on the first game's cover art.

There is a poster referencing a knight named Arthur. This is a reference to the character Sir Arthur, a character from Capcom's Ghosts 'n' Goblins series.

William Hope who voices Mikhail in this game also portrayed Lt. Gorman in the film Aliens. Much like that of his role in Aliens, Mikhail too blows himself up with a grenade, a nod to the film.

During the game, there are several movie billboards and posters advertising a film with a World War II motif titled, "Air Combat 1942." This is a reference to Capcom's video game 1942 which involves the player engaging in aerial combat during World War II.

The "Power Stones" achievement is a reference to the video game Power Stone, also made by Capcom.

Eagle's Pet Shop has a caricature of the character Eagle from the first Street Fighter game by Capcom.

When Daniel brings out Mr. X during the game, he will sometimes call out, "Here's Trenchy!" This is a reference to a line used by Jack Nicholson in the movie 'The Shining' where Nicholson breaks open a door and calls out, "Here's Johnny!"  It's also a nickname Leon S. Kennedy gave to Mr. X in the remake of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Ozwell E. Spencer will sometimes say, "I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids!" This phrase is commonly used by a lot of the villains in the Scooby-Doo franchise.

The car Jill uses to attack Nemesis is the same one used by Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7: biohazard. This is especially notable because Ethan uses his car to attack one of the antagonists in the game in a similar manner to how Jill attacks Nemesis.

A poster for a movie titled 'Science Forum' has realistic versions of Dr. Wily and Dr. Light from the Mega Man series on it. Looking closer, the player can see their names printed at the bottom of the poster.

Alex Wesker will sometimes say, "Fly, my pretties! Fly!" This is the exact same line used by the Wicked Witch Of The West in The Wizard Of Oz.

One of the restaurants in the game is named Big Wave. A restaurant of the same name can be found in Mega Man Starforce 2.

The movie poster 'Wolf on the Battlefield' is a reference to Capcom's arcade game Commando, which was known in Japan by the title on the poster.

The "Air Combat 1942" poster seen above the cinema in the beginning of the game is a redesign of the poster for the 1986 film, Top Gun.

In the hospital, a teddy bear can be found sitting in a wheelchair on the first floor. This is the same teddy bear from Resident Evil 7, and is a nod to elder Evelyn from Resident Evil 7, who also was in a wheelchair.

The song that plays inside the Moon's Donuts restaurant is the ending credits theme from the original Resident Evil 2.

Nikolai Zinoviev, after losing a MM match, will sometimes say "I'll be back.", a famously known line by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator movies.

A poster on the doors leading into the convenience store displays 'Umbrella Noodles' on it. In the original Resident Evil Outbreak, the player could find a hidden item with the same name in one of the scenarios.

When Ozwell E. Spencer uses his laser field trap, he will say, "You! Shall! Not! Pass!" This is a very well known line from the Lord of the Rings.

When the first Hunter makes an appearance in Resident Evil 3, we are given a first person view as the creature approaches the location where Carlos is. The same thing was done in the original version of Resident Evil where the Hunter's first appearance had a first person view sequence of the Hunter approaching as well.

In the Abandoned Park level, there are numerous statues and figures that are intended to be Frankenstein themed. These statues are actually Victor von Gerdenheim from Capcom's fighting game franchise Dark Stalkers.

The Do ya feel lucky? and Well? Do ya? achievements are a nod to lead actor Clint Eastwood in the film "Dirty Harry."

An advertisement for tomato soup has the logo 'Elephant Restaurant' on it, which was also the name of a location in Resident Evil Outbreak File #2.

A movie poster showing a clown with the title, "Party Party Party" is a clear reference to the movie It.

The name of Becca's schoolgirl uniform is 'One More Time,' a reference to the Britney Spears song, "Baby One More Time" where she wears a similar uniform in the music video.

The Mars Carlisle's Off Duty movie poster seen above the cinema near the beginning of the game is a redesign for the theatrical poster of the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, released in 1986.

In the downtown map, on one of the walls there is a poster advertising a home cleaning service. The house displayed on the poster is the Baker mansion from Resident Evil 7: biohazard.

In addition to the picture of Morrigan Aensland from Dark Stalkers, the bar near the beginning also features various cocktails which are named after Morrigan's special moves, such as Shadow Blade, Darkness Illusion, etc.

The altered look for Nemesis included a metal plate to protect his exposed heart, as he is supposed to be a tyrant, and a crooked nose added to his face, to give the horrific implication that Nemesis might have been formerly human.

For this remake, Jill's standard outfit was modified significantly to make it more realistic and more practical for combat; it was also taken from the beta version of the original game. Her original outfit from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) was available as a pre-order bonus.

Jill's iconic S.T.A.R.S outfit from Resident Evil (1996) and Resident Evil (2002) can be purchased from the in-game shop after completing the game.

The officer corpse in the RPD is shown to have been killed by a Licker.  It's not possible to zombify.

The appearance of Jill Valentine in this game is based on Russian model Sasha Zotova. Carlos Oliveira is based on Middle Eastern model Benson Mohktar.

Nicholai was obviously distrusted by Mikhail when Jill meets them at the train. Considering how valuable Bard is to making a cure for the T-Virus, it makes sense Mikhail would chose his only other two operatives to find him. Better not to risk sending Nicholai, who Jill confirms killed a wounded operative on the possibility he was infected.

It's shown that Leon and Claire arrived in Raccoon City roughly a day after the total hell of the outbreak reached a climax.

Carlos had his look significantly altered for the remake, looking more rugged and bulkier compared to the original. This change was based on the criticism that the original look for Carlos was too pretty and boyish for someone who was supposedly a guerrilla warfare soldier. The classic costume for Carlos was made available as a bonus for pre-orders.

The scene where Jill is attacked and impregnated by a mutated bug creature is very similar to a scene described in an early version of the script for Resident Evil (2002). The only major differences are that Jill was attacked in the shower, and she had to fight the creature while being naked.

Nemesis is only after Jill. Anyone else is just collateral damage.

Jill Valentine was voted numerous times the sexiest and most bad-ass female character.

Marv was bitten by Brad, whom managed to muster a "sorry" while a zombie.

Even if you attempt to use the DLC of Jill's original game outfit to get a panty-shot, the developers took into account the perverts. The skirt has been changed to a skort.

The first few minutes of the game are played in first person, similar to the first person aspect of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017).

While playing as Carlos in the Spencer Memorial Hospital, there is a scripted scene when you see from a Hunter Beta's point of view as it hunts Carlos down. Prior to this scene, if you walk towards the Nurses Station room on the 2nd floor, a Hunter Beta will quickly run in front of you, foreshadowing their presence within the hospital.

In Kendo's gun shop, if you hang around the door where Kendo goes through, you can hear some extra dialogue that references events in Resident Evil 2 (2019).

Mistakes

ID cards in the game use the Day/Month/Year format common in countries outside of the Americas. Since the game is set in the U.S.A., the correct format should be Month/Day/Year.
