Cheats Secrets

To unlock the alternate costumes, listed below, do the following:

Biker Costume: Complete the game under the hard difficulty setting with a rank of A

Disco: Complete the game under the hard difficulty setting with a rank of A

Jill's Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut costume: Complete the game under the easy difficulty setting with any rank better than E

Police Miniskirt: Complete the game under the hard difficulty setting with a rank of A

Regina's costume from Dino Crisis: Complete the game under the easy difficulty setting

To unlock an epilogue of the surviving characters between Resident Evil 1 - 3, you must defeat the main game on Hard Mode each of 8 times will be another epilogue image.

To get Jill's Diary, you'll need to get all of the files in order. After getting the last file, you will see that Jill's Diary will replace Operation Instructions A in your inventory.

Nintendo GameCube: To gain the infinite bullets case, defeat the Nemesis all seven times you meet him to unlock this item.

To unlock the Mercenary Mode, just beat the game like normal.

To get the special key, just beat the game, but with higher ranks will give you access to more costumes.

Defeat Nemesis any of the seven times you encounter him on Hard Mode to unlock the following items:

Assault Rifle: Dropped by Nemesis the seventh time you defeat him (first playthrough only)

Eagle Parts A: Dropped by Nemesis the first time you defeat him

Eagle Parts B: Dropped by Nemesis the second time you defeat him

First Aid Spray Box: Dropped by Nemesis the third and sixth times you defeat him

Infinite Bullets (one weapon only): Dropped by Nemesis the seventh time you defeat him (after the first playthrough only)

M37 Parts A: Dropped by Nemesis the fourth time you defeat him

M37 Parts B: Dropped by Nemesis the fifth time you defeat him

To read the director's message, beat the game 8 times. Note: after viewing the 8th epilogue, the message will appear and this is the only chance you get to read it.  Don't waste it.

If you are at the part right after the parking office where a huge bus is and you have over 2 minutes or more, mutated Nemesis will appear. Kill him and you will get a 120 second time bonus.
