PC - If you beat the game with Chris within 3 hours, the unlimited machine gun will be available.

PC - If you beat the game with Jill within 3 hours, the INGRAM pistol infinite ammo will be available.

To unlock costumes, simply beat the game the good way; save all your living friends and the mansion must explode.  You will get a special key which will unlock the door in the room with the large mirror and a crawling zombie.

To unlock the infinite rocket launcher, beat the game on any character within 3 hours, save your game and open the save file and check the first item box.

Sega Saturn: Beat the game and the Battle Mode will be permanently available, even without having to cheat.

Easter Egg: After the game starts, as Jill, in the dining room, go back to the main hall where Wesker is waiting.  He will remind you to investigate if you hear any gunfire, and Jill will go back to the dining room.  Attempt to return to the main hall again and Barry will stand up and make a comment to Jill.  Control Jill to go near the ticking grandfather clock and it'll trigger a cutscene involving a zombie and Barry blowing its head off.

Sega Saturn: To gain Access to special costumes hold the L and R triggers on controller 2 at the ''July 1998'' screen. While holding them down, press START on controller 1. When the game starts you should have new costumes.

Sega Saturn: Hold X, Y, Z and Start on Joypad 2. Press start on controller 1.  You must have saved the game at least once for this to work.

Director's Cut version: At the title screen, where you can select the difficulty, highlight the Advance difficulty and hold right on the controller until the word "Advance" turns green and select it.  You should have double ammo now.

At the title screen, highlight New Game option, hold right for a few seconds and select and you should have your skills leveled up.

In Advance Mode, put the red jewel into the tiger statue (during the Hunter period of the mansion), and take either one or two of the three magnum ammo, leave the room and return, then the magnum rounds respawn.  Keep doing this until you get as much magnum ammo as you wish.

Beat the game, in any length of time, on Advance Mode, to unlock the infinite Colt Python gun.

To unlock new costumes, beat the game on either Training or Standard Mode.  A special key will be available and you can use it to access the closet in the wardrobe room with the giant mirror.  In Advance Mode, you already have alternate costumes to start with, and the closet door is already unlocked where you can have the option of changing into the standard costume.

Go to the room with the crows and pictures.  To solve the picture puzzle which gives you access to the star crest:

  1. Click on the picture of a new born baby.
  2. Click on the image of an infant.
  3. Click on the image of a lively boy.
  4. Click on the image of a young man.
  5. Click on the image of a tired middle-age man.
  6. Click on the image of the bold-looking old man.
  7. Click on the image at the end of the room.

The codes for the drug storage room in the beehive passage in the Guardhouse:

Jill: 345

Chris (1, PC including GOG version): 215

Chris (other versions): 1245

To create the V-Jolt plant poison, go to the drug room in the guardhouse, assuming you solved the access code:

  1. Put water inside an empty bottle
  2. Put UMB No.2 inside an empty bottle
  3. Combine the water with the UMB No.2 to create NP-003
  4. Put another UMB No.2 inside an empty bottle
  5. Put UMB No.4 inside an empty bottle
  6. Combine the UMB No.2 with the UMB No.4 to create Yellow-6
  7. Put another UMB No.4 inside an empty bottle
  8. Combine the NP-003 with the UMB No.4 to create UMB No.7
  9. Combine the Yellow-6 with the UMB No.7 to create UMB No.13
  10. Put another water inside an empty bottle
  11. Put another UMB No.2 inside an empty bottle
  12. Combine the water with the UMB No.2 to create another NP-003
  13. Combine the NP-003 with the UMB No.13 to create the V-JOLT

The B3 doors will unlock if you select the B3 level, but the B2, requires the second passcode, which again, is MOLE.
