Founding History

Radames was a senior researcher involved in the C-Virus Project with The Family. The Family under the leadership of Derek Simmons, believed that future of bio warfare was bioweapons.  That and the United States had its own bioweapon projects but was shut down following the destruction of Raccoon City that suffered a T-Virus outbreak, that led the United States government to missile strike the city.  It was The Family's duty to create bioweapons to main US military dominance.  Radames's research was a success, but she fell victim to Simmons to genetically engineer a clone of Ada Wong, a female Chinese spy he loved, but she shunned him for years.  Radames developed a dead hate for Simmons, growing jealous of his love for the real Ada Wong, and she would destroy everything Simmons worked or believed in.

Dr. Radames was placed in charge of The Family's East Asian division against Simmons. She began siphoning funds constructing an underwater facility she worked on her doomsday weapon called Haos.  Rather than allowing military dominance, Radames would use The Family's resources to destroy the world with bioterrorism.

Following the US presidential election in 2012, President Adam Bedford was re-elected, had plans to reveal the truth about what happened to the events of the destruction of Raccoon City and the US's involvement in Umbrella bioweapons enterprise. To prevent this information to be made public, Simmons plotted an assassination against Adam Bedford, and use the C-Virus to destroy Tall Oaks where the president would deliver that speech, then bomb the city along with their own US facilities to prevent enemy nations to use it for their own research.  During the planning stage it was learned that the late Albert Wesker had a grown son, named Jake Muller, living in Southern Europe.  Simmons would extradite him to deny the world his blood which could be used to create a C-Vaccine ahead of the assassination. Radames sold the C-Virus to rebels stationed in Edonia, East Europe, after the DSO agent, Sherry Birkin was to find him.  Jake's infection lacked mutation, which indicates that he had antibodies to fight off virus infection.  Edonia faced extreme fighting between the J'avo fighting force and the BSAA, allowing Radames forces to abduct the two in the confusion.

Over the period of six months since the Edonia attack, in Lanshiang, Sherry and Jake were held captive in a facility under a mansion in the city.  They were repeatedly subject to blood extraction for use in creating the more powerful strain of the C-Virus. In the days leading up the assassination attempts against Adam Bedford, Radames was given total control of the Eastern Asian division, along with an American submarine which was to be reported hijacked. This submarine was to be used to assassinate the real Ada Wong.  Neo Umbrella had already had a large military presence in China, Radames took the opportunity to recruit a civilian army offering injections in exchange for money in Poisawan slum district.

Neo Umbrella launched attacks in both Tall Oaks, and Lanshiang.  Their army attacked at Yuenmon Port, massing the warship's crew.  The Neo Umbrella civilian army conducted an attack on Waiyip with reinforced military vehicles stolen from those warships.  As the BSAA begin recovery operations, contingencies were made to prevent anyone from noticing the underwater complex as the attack on Lanshiang was a diversion from Haos activation.  Plan D was to attack the Tatchi district of the city with a missile modified with C-Virus payload in a form of gas from a premature Haos if Radames ends up killed. During one night, The Family, traveled to China to investigate Neo Umbrella. Radames had Simmons infected with an enhanced version of the C-Virus and when The Family abandoned him, Simmons was shot.  Plan D was executed, where Tatchi was attacked by the virus missile.

The researchers quickly abandoned the underwater complex, taking a train escape route while they left the Neo Umbrella soldiers behind to control to prevent the BSAA incursion. As this took place, the J'avo recaptured Sherry and Jake as they faced Simmons and were being tracked. Haos had awoken but was soon killed when the facility exploded due to a reactor overload.

Combat Units

Neo Umbrella mainly used J'avo forces to carry out attacks on major cities such as Lanshiang and Waiyip. The J'avo are easily recognized by their insect helmets, and crimson body armor which offers better protection than the standard J'avo.  They were armed with various arsenals and even wielded blades on their wrists.  Neo Umbrella J'avo was able to pilot helicopters, fighter jets, and gunboats and battle tanks.  They are more enhanced in intelligence than the standard J'avo.  These kind of J'avo often exhibit mutations, probably due to their longer exposure to the C-Virus.  They were obedient to Carla Radames carrying out her orders even after her death.
